assuming you can FC this, i think the better path is 2 4 2 (skipping 1 SP)
2-2-3-2 is 13813 points under SP
2-4-2 is 14494 points under SP
total of 2724 more points
Get 2, use at start of 3rd SP (anywhere during it is fine really)
Get 4, use at start of reds
Get 2, use so you get all the 3-note chords
key difference is sacrificing one SP and some whammy for those 1600 point measures
** EDIT: now that iamchris4life has FC'd this... 2-2-4 gives 15862 points under SP (150 more if you can squeeze the 1st and 3rd activations) for 5472 more points yet...

Well, I just landed 5th place using 2-2-3-2 on a run that really was not that great so I would say 2-2-3-2 is my favorite, but im sure those calculations are right.... I missed 9 notes total in the bridges _________________

Lost count of the notes too many times.......
IF you could FC this....
Anyone try 2-2-4?
Get 2 start on SP3
Get 2 (4 and 5) activate immediately, the amount you whammy sp4 depends on how fast you activate after 5.
Get 4 activate on 2nd GY chord, ends at end of 3 note chords.
Can't FC or squeeze so this is just a thought.
edit - so many tiny dots I mean notes. So my counts are (hope I'm not mistaken)
2-2-3-2 path is 56+56+83+72 = 267 SP notes egads
2-4-2 path is 56+106+72 = 234 notes. Counted squeezes and hold notes for both 2-2-3-2 squeadlie wins!!! but wait Trogdor is in a burninating mood.
2-2-4 path activated on sp3 is 98+72+136 = 306 notes
Can somebody with talent try this? _________________

EDIT: 04/30/07
Finally Optimal
EDIT: 04/11/07
Optimal score is 258244. I'm 200 points off.
Not sure if i squeezed, I added up notes once and you can 8* w/o squeezing I think.
2-2-4 SP

to just get a 5* i believe the 2-2-3-2 is best, i couldn't break 130k to save my life with any other path and 2-2-3-2 got me 143k with 89% notes hit. _________________

I'm trying to 7-star this..I can FC everything outside of the breaks so what's a good path to optimize points outside of the GTR Breaks? Or is it still just easier to use the actual SP Path? _________________

Use the original 2 2 3 2 path
2 use at the first chord (like 2 notes away)
2 use at the end of the first red hold
3 use at the start of the RRRRRR in the chrous
2 use properly to last through the 3-note chords _________________

The only part that messes me up is the ending with the G G G G G YY G G G YY etc, once I get it this will be my next FC. |

try playing it like his
D D D D D DU D D D D D DU but accentuate every strum so you keep your place. |
