Well since no one else has suggested a song, can I choose demons as the hard song. Its pretty fun, and its a good song (IMO). Unless this rivalry is dead or on a break for the Holidays.

can we do What I Got? Im not sure how popular that song is, but i think it has a pretty decent chart to it for one of the easier songs.

Personally, I'd vote for no songs for the next two weeks, because of Christmas and New Years. Not sure about you guys, but I can't guarantee enough free time to work on several songs in the next two weeks. :p

This!

I propose the pospone the rivalry till 2 januari.
Then the the holiday's are over and everyone can focus again.

(I will PM everyone who is still in around that time to alert them that we'll start again.)

If Munchlax approves that is

Another possible idea: choose the three songs like you normally would, but give an extra two weeks or so for every to play them. Those who are busy can wait... and those who are free can start playing now

Hi guys. Sorry I haven't been around, I've been madly Christmas shopping for all those relatives that I don't really know!

So yes, WhYYZ, we will postpone round 4 so that it starts January 3 at the usual 1AM GMT.

Round 4 will be:
What I've Got
Jailbreak
Demon(s)

Have a happy holidays and see you guys again in 2010.

Well...we can just chat here anyway, you know...chat bumping?

Erik98765432: Yes, you can join. However, due to the holidays, we won't be doing round 4 until a bit later. Hope you have fun!

ArthritisHero: I won't be playing GH5 much this holiday (I'll be playing BH and DJH). I think that if a mini-rivalry occurs, I can't really monitor the scores while playing DJH. It looks hard.

Two week break is a good idea. Hopefully I don't lose my ability to play guitar, because I'm going to be favoring Drums, and playing Madden to much. Although I'm getting Smash Hits so maybe TTFAF will knock some skill back into me.

Also Munchlax you should probably remove Pantera and Desmos from the List because they haven't submitted single score. It's up to you, it would just make it less work for you, each week.

Smash Hits has horrible charting for me. Especially Raining Blood...it ends with a 5-note chord. So idiotic of them to do that. Plus, sometimes they don't actually put the note well on the beat, like Take Me Out.

I dunno, I just hope they don't make another Smash Hits styled game. I'm glad for Band Hero. Band Hero's pretty much a track pack in my opinion, just as a separate game. That's a great idea, and for those who want to import the songs, it only costs them a little bit more.

You know what, I'll let the people who didn't submit their scores for round 3 a chance to get them in before next round starts. I thought there wasn't enough people playing. Plus, I wanted WhYYZ to do Streamline Woman.

Thank you very much!
Well, I played Band Hero, It's not really a challenge, but I still didn't manage to FGFC it in time

Band Hero is...well...not very appealing to me. I thought the songs I knew were boring to play, and the songs I didn't know were a bit hard to listen to.

Especially that part in Through the Grapevine. That was just random and I was not ready for that.

Otherwise, I also didn't like the big changes in the characters. I can't look at Johnny Napalm any more. :'(

Also, I am a fan of Maroon 5, and Adam's head seems a bit more round than it was when I went to one of their concerts. Also, the band's a bit shiny in SWBL as well. Weird.

I've gotten lots of FCs, and I'm always getting 5-stars on every song. Easy peasy. Also, the challenges aren't challenging. I haven't seen any whammy or up-strum challenges. Only easy streak and hit notes challenges.

I do like the stages though. They're nice looking...

---

The main game I'm playing is Rabbids Go Home. It's rated G (general) in Australia here, but I'll quote 3 lines from the game...

"My wife's almost pregnant!"
"Stop pissing off my dog!"
"Oh god, I almost peed in my pants!"

Yeah, you're shouting at people and they say these rather...PG things...

---

I also got DJ Hero, and expert will pretty much own you, but I say jump into medium. Easy is basic enough to learn how the songs go, medium adds the cross-fader and directional scratches into the game. Although the game has no career...it's pretty much play the "set-lists" to get stars, to get stuff, and these "set-lists" are scattered in the main menu.

Stages are independent from "set-lists", as they're unlocked with stars, rather than passing "set-lists". I'm not really into DJ music, but if I know one song that's playing, I'm happy. My favourite (sound-wise) mix is the one between "Feel Good Inc." and "Through the Grapevine".

There is a lack of artists though. I'm up to the "set-list" with 8 mixes. Each with a song by Daft Punk...yeah...

---

Have a good New Year's guys!
