this is my first season and when it says "Muted" does that just mean that I hit the mute button for my tv??? if so, i have no problem with that

Yeah, just as long as you don't have the song on to give you any clues.

And I'm going to guess that you can't try to sync up a real version of the song to the GH2 one, just in case anyone asks. :P

Soy Bomb: I squeaked a 5-star out of this one MONTHS ago, and never did anything with it again, so this should be interesting.
Jessica (Poll Song): I was hoping Message in a Bottle would win, but Jessica's good too. maybe now I can 5-star it.
War Pigs - Muted: This deserves a big, bold WHAT THE FUCK! you can't MUTE THIS SONG!!! why not mute Soy Bomb? that song is just bleh anyway..

The songs this week are pretty good. I always thought Soy Bomb was easy- I tried it once when I was just playing around with the songs, and never again for a long time after that. When I was putting my scores into ScoreHero for the first time, I noticed that it was my only 7-star, so even though I don't remember the song, I think it's easy enough.

Jessica was once my favorite song, but I haven't done it in a while since I overplayed it when I first got to expert..

RTT, heh, I first thought this song was so damn hard, especially when I needed to five star it for my log. Now it's one of my favorites, but I still mess up on that one part, where you switch the notes a lot.

And War Pigs, a fine and dandy song, I don't really mind the mute twist, I don't think it'll hamper my abilities at playing the song too much, but too bad it was wasted on War Pigs and not on some other ear shatterring or horrifying song.

Where were you, mute twist, when we had to do Red Lottery!?

Let's review my territory real quick:

Soy Bomb: Easy FC.
Jessica: I'm very hit and miss with this song. I can consistently 5* it but I'll either get my best run yet or my worst...

Rock This Town: I'm getting dead last for this.

War Pigs: I really don't know what the f*** is gonna happen.

Still, at this point my scores are so bad I can't really come back.

Jessica: One of my favourites, too! Although it's pretty long. I've come rather close to FCing this a few times, but its length prevents me from doing so.

War Pigs on Mute. THE FUCK. Muted WAR PIGS? It's too damn long for mute!
Plus, it's WAR PIGS! W A R P I G S! Arrrghhhhhhhhhh....

Am I allowed to sing along with War Pigs? Tap my foot? Have a metronome going? lol

Edit: Also, what's the cutoff line for playoffs? I've been a pretty consistent low-teens ranking throughout, so that's near the line, I would guess.

That's ok, I voted for Misilrou. I figured I'd be the only one though, but I'd love the motivation to try to 5* it. I'm really loving our song selection this week. Jessica is flat fun to play, I take back my previous statement about it as I hadn't really played it much. RTT I just love torturing myself on, Soy Bomb, well, ok, I love all the songs but this one. I had considered myself done with this song before it got drawn, but I guess I can throw some time at it. War Pigs, however, is going to be my nemesis this week. Playing without sound really throws me off but I still plan on working it to death, time permitting.

All in all, it's going to be a good week for me.
