This will probably put you guys off, but I have tried playing every song expert voxtar before back in December. I got the gist of the lyrics, but I also started to prefer songs (such as Stone Cold Crazy, Turn the Page, and Evil, not to mention every Metallica song on disc) and dislike others (such as Demon Cleaner, War Inside My Head, and Armed and Ready). Glad I've done two of those.
However, I just ran through every song, just trying to beat all of them first go. Only War Ensemble was particularly difficult. That's also the only song I haven't 5-starred on guitar alone. I did get quite a lot of 4-stars, and coming back, after playing all the songs, my star count was 232 of 260. There were still 28 stars I hadn't picked up.
Anyway, I'd better up all my scores by 100K.

DC: amazing score I got even with the audio lag which messes te guitar up a bit
WIMH: tough song to voxtar crappy score due yo audio lag for guitar I'll improve that later
WH(S): I did good could do better

Got new scores. I'll edit the previous post later.
I practiced listening to DC and played it solo vox twice to get it. Went up 50k.
Just played WIMH randomly (still don't know 75% of the lyrics). Went up 80k.
Played WH(S) a couple times, first improving like 5k but I was D/Ced so it was REALLY laggy. Then redid it. I at least know 90% of the song :P Went up 30k.

Since we're all Wii players, I was wondering whether we could include the three Death Magnetic songs included as well. Since all of us have it (since it comes with the PS2/Wii version anyway), maybe we should add Broken, Beat, and Scared, Cyanide, and My Apocalypse to the random song generator?

that would be awesome. those are some great songs, so i might actually do somewhat well on them
by the way, are you gonna update the OP during the week or afterward? It would be kind of nice having all the scores from everyone else in one place. But whatever you think is best...
As for my scores, I haven't even tried WIMH or DC. I don't know any of the lyrics or even the pitch of the vocals for those songs. So my only score is this:

V: 58% 1NS
Obviously, as you can tell, I'm absolutely awful at doing well on the vocals while playing guitar. So I'm going to try playing the guitar as I usually do and treating the vocals as if I'm singing along....

Why don't we mix things up a bit make three separate competitions one guitar one vox one voxtar and let's make the competition shorter not one week long maybe do 2 days???
So we can do this:
2 days voxtar 2 days guitar 2 days vox and so on

i dont like that idea. im busy a lot this summer. there will be a lot of times where I'll be away from home for a few days, but not all week. so either you guys would have to wait for me all the time, or that wouldn't work out very well

Just broke my 600k goal for WH(S)...
...and 650k I guess 
Did better on WIMH, 600k as well, still know quack 'bout the lyrics though...
I'm gonna work on DC soon, but I'm probably done with WH(S) and WIMH

for now im too lazy to post anything else other than the overall score. If anyone really wants to know, they're up in my GHM voxtar scores.
I added over 62k to Sanitarium, mostly from just better guitar playing, and these are my sightreads (at least, for vocals and guitar together) for DC and WIMH.
If anyone's curious, so far Munchlax, FingerQuick, and ArthritisHero are the only three users who have entered in scores for these three songs on Wii. For all voxtar songs together, I've entered in more than a dozen songs more than everyone else so I easily have first place overall. If you guys started entering in some GHM voxtar scores, you could probably easily achieve first on the wii.
haha, as for the three songs we've all entered in... im third on each. you two have passed me up on both. hopefully i can catch up a little bit if i learn DC and WIMH

i like that idea a lot more. do you mean have all three instruments (vocals, guitar, and voxtar) due on the same day for the same songs?
Are we talking about one rivalry that combines all the scores or three seperate rivalries? I would only like that idea if we stuck to a voxtar-only rivalry. I'd rather have three seperate rivalries if we did that....

No I meant have a different instrument each week having the winner of the past week choose the next three songs to do and choose the type ( vox guitar or voxtar)
I was also thinking since we all have wii maybe do a voxtar PFO on guitar hero 5

Actually, I have put up some other scores. I have got first for Wii on Seek & Destroy and The Thing That Should Not Be, along with a 3rd on Mercyful Fate, Whiplash, and Hit the Lights. I will try and play some other songs on voxtar (maybe, Stone Cold Crazy and Am I Evil) while I'm at it.

Yeah, I agree with Arthritis. Sure, it would be cool to have single instruments at times, but, two things. (1) It would be quite common to find a GHM rivalry on expert guitar. In fact, it's easy to find any rivalry there. (2) Vocals is...well...really boring by itself. Seriously, try playing One on vocals. You sing for about a quarter of the song, and then just have to do the freeform sections for the rest.
Plus, we'll get the chance to do it (kind-of if you want to do the freeform vocals) when Orion comes up. There, we don't have to sing, and it's an easy song.
As for GH5 PFO, it would be pretty awesome to have all of us doing voxtar. We all have Wi-Fi, and I do think we should try that some day. Do we all the the Death Magnetic album on our systems? I've got it. It'd be fun to do The Day that Never Comes.

Nop I don't have it but I got SH and WT imported and well since I'm a vocalist vocals isn't realy boring for me I thinks it fun to air guitar while we are not singing also if you do just vocals we could avoid songs like one
