I was looking at Steve Ouimette on Wikipedia and it said he recorded all the guitar for every single track in this game except for the Linkin Park and Finger Eleven song... Is that true?

And that's because the Linkin Park and Finger Eleven songs were masters xD
Spot-on guitar covers, too. Of course it's a lot easier to emulate guitar than vocals (just find the right equipment and effects) but to get the parts that good is really awesome. _________________

[citation needed] on the game being crappy. Having him do all the covers made the game that much better -- they actually tried to have decent covers (from an instrument standpoint at any rate). _________________

Tough game. I worked with Konami on that and spent nearly a year doing it. They were behind the curve at that point because GH and RB were going with master tracks and that was a no-win situation. Vocalists came from all over the world to do that game but it's near impossible to get another human being to sound exactly the same as another. Some are great (Spoonman, Heading Out To The Highway), others weren't (you know which ones). I played guitar and bass on all of them except a few that I didn't play bass on. Keys as well and I produced the tracks. Ryan Greene engineered with me and mixed the whole thing. Great experience but there were too many strikes against them going into it. I still have a copy in my garage:-) _________________

Fun fact: Ryan Greene has been responsible for production and whatnot for a huge list of bands that I love. I can't help but respect anything that he's involved in, guy's pretty awesome. _________________

Hey Steve (or anyone else), do you know why Pandora doesn't carry any of your music? I tried making a station based off your music by typing in "Steve" , but it didn't pop up your name. I even tried typing in your full name, and it still didn't pop up, making me |
