Hey guys.
I've got a question regarding Rebel Yell. Well it's not mainly about this song since I can finish it but it's about some parts in it; this pattern is showing up quite alot (expert):
Something like that. I just can't seem to hit this right (it's pretty fast after each other), any tips on how to play these kind of notes?
Thanks |

Left hand hits the red and blue pads, you tuck it under your other arm. _________________

left hand on the reds and blues is by far the easiest way to hit it. if you are using rockband drums, that might be harder to do though, and you may be better off just moving both arms for the yellow blues. i have no experience with rb drums to know how to use them though. |

This is weird for me because I've always found the easiest way to play it is to use my left hand on the red with my right hand on the yellow for the first notes, then using my right hand on the blue and my left hand on the yellow, then changing back. It's pretty fast paced doing that method but I ace those parts. |

I have to agree with the latter two posters, that kind of method is pretty natural to me. You kinda shift your body a bit in a fast motion, but in the end it's much less awkward for me. |

yeah but you guys are probably all using rb drums. on the wt kit you have your arm up when you hit yellow which makes it more natural (atleast for most people) to use left on blue. its reely unnatural to use your left on yellow unless its a yellow orange note. |

Nope. World Tour kit. Left on reds and yellows. Flows better, especially for such a small drumset. _________________

yeah i mean i have always thought that it should be easier to play it that way, but every time i try, i mess up. it is just easier to keep playin the yellows with my right for some reason. |

I'm on WT Drums too. It's still easier for me to do. |
