Here comes a big post!
Common Enemies - The Armed
They are a rad hardcore band from Detroit, MI. You can download this EP and their first album for free from here. The packaging is great. It's handnumbered (54/200) and very nice. Check them out!
The Shape of Punk to Come - Refused
I don't think I need to say anything about this album. It's such a great package. The sleeves have lyrics, pictures, essays, etc. on them and it's awesome. I accidentally got sent 2 copies as well.
CONVERGE TIME
You Fail Me and No Heroes - Converge
I got the represses today. So nice. The No Heroes art is especially gorgeous on the gatefold.
Axe to Fall - Converge
And I never showed my copy of Axe to Fall. Second pressing. I love the color. _________________

Was in Grand Rapids on a mini-roadtrip for the Anthrax/Megadeth/Slayer show this past weekend. Before heading home, totally stopped by what is now IMO the greatest record store in all of Michigan. Blew about $50 bucks on used old-school Metal records from the 1980's. All first press, here are the coolest ones:
1981 - Iron Maiden - Killers (Very good condition, an absolute must have classic for only $10)
1982 - Manowar - Battle Hyms (Very good condition, has a few scuffs that don't look like they'll effect play)
1985 - Accept - Metal Heart (Very good condition, I've wanted this ever since I got into the band a few months ago)
1987 - Helloween - Keeper of the Seven Keys part 1 (Very good condition, This LP is fucking sweet and I've always wanted to get into this band because I love power Metal and these guys are classics of the genre and this was the perfect thing)
1988 - Overkill - Under the Influence (Very good condition, Overkill is fucking awesome and this LP slays) _________________

Already posted Dark Side Of The Moon in here, but I brought it back with its buddies Permanent Waves, A Day At The Races and A Night At The Opera. This is probably the entirety of the highlights of the very meager and old collection of vinyl at my house. _________________

My first vinyl came in the mail Friday.
They look pretty sweet, but I was expecting the vinyls to be a more darker red, but that's just a minor detail. Still very happy I got my hands on this though. |

Chanukah and birthday money beg the question: New wishlist and necro? Answer: New wishlist and necro.
Streetlight Manifesto - Somewhere in the Between (does anyone know if this can be found anywhere in the blue pressing, or are those pretty well gone?)
Portugal. The Man - The Satanic Satanist (is the colored pressing available anywhere, or just the black one?)
Portugal. The Man - Waiter: "You Vultures!!" (I can't seem to find this very easily, but I haven't looked all that hard.)
Andrew Jackson Jihad - People Who Can Eat People Are the Luckiest People in the World (found!)
Motion City Soundtrack - i am the movie (Don't know where this exists anymore.)
I guess those should get me started for now >_> _________________

As far as I know, the blue pressing of Somewhere in the Between is gone. I haven't seen many private sellers letting go of it, though.
For P.tM, colored copies can only be found from private sellers, and for a pretty high price. I would suggest making threads or searching around deadformat.net to find someone who will sell you one. This guy will sell you colored copies of both for $85, $40 for The Satanic Satanist, $45 for Waiter (you could probably barter with him and get them cheaper if you buy them together).
And all four of Motion City Soundtrack's full-lengths can be purchased at their webstore. _________________

-I can't find it anywhere, so I'm inclined to believe you there.
-That's weird. I wonder why that ended up happening. I would LOVE to find a copy of W:YV somewhere, but the only copies I've seen are like you said from private sellers at exorbitant prices. Sad face. And with regards to potentially bartering with that guy you linked, I have no idea where to start on the lower end because I have no idea what that album is really worth.
-If you'd gone one step further and clicked specific links you'd notice that both CTTM and IATM are out of stock. I don't know if they'll be back in or what, but as for now that's the status on those. _________________

Sweet! Thanks man, I wasn't sure where to go to look for those. Now I just have to force myself to actually buy this stuff - I have issues spending money, especially when it's my own, and my list is long enough to not be extremely cheap ... oh well. Decisions, decisions. _________________
