Well guys this really sucks, but just as I was getting back into the scene and enjoying going for some GH2 scores, my GH2 save file that I have had since I was 13 years old in 2007 has just gone corrupt and I lost my 63/64 save file and all my scores.
I'm confident I'd be able to get 63/64 again if I really wanted to, but the real dagger here is that I feel like a part of my childhood just got stripped away from me. I don't really have any motivation to grind any other games or to start over on GH2 right now, so although it's been short-lived my return to guitar hero is now on pause as I'm not sure what I want to do now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
4/19 edit: Hey ya'll. I finished a full Redux of tier 7 and I ended up in 1st overall, which is really unexpected! First place untied on Carry me Home was a struggle. The other scores were not too bad to get, but the PB score is very old and I didn't see a point in the redux since the score was solid. Awesome! Not sure what I will do next.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey guys. I decided to actually hook up the ps2 and play some GH2. Although I have had 63/64 FCs since 2009, my scores have always been downright terrible and I think it's finally time to do something about that. I decided to start with Tier 6 and I just finished all 5 songs today! Not sure what tier I will move on to next, but I am satisfied with these tier 6 scores so far.
Jessica could definitely be improved, but I am pretty satisfied with the other 4 scores. The HOPO whammies in Jessica are abysmal and make the song miserable to grind, so I will probably just leave it here for now.
For now, I'm having a lot of fun. It would be cool to redux all of GH2. I think my goal would be top 5 overall if I end up sticking with this. We will see!

Hey thanks I just need to get the stupid solo down and I'll have it. I have the pattern down im just having a little trouble getting my hand to move fast enough. I'll get it eventualy.
And another -1 on Slow Ride in the same spot sheesh.
I don't think im going to be able to play tomorrow due to school and such but I have Tuesday off so I might be able to get 1 or 2 more FCs and I'm going to finaly post my scores. _________________

Nice, I remember how good it was to get my first FCs.....(i sound like an old grandpa who's been there and done that, but i only have like 10 fcs the way it is lol) . By the way, just by looking at your scores that you posted, I can tell that you're definitely going to pull off quite a few more FCs, you'll have 10 or so in no time trust me. _________________

I agree. Stricken shouldn't be like the 5th song you're trying to FC ^^ |

Nice, although don't you think Stricken is a little early to be planning to FC? If you do decide to get it, make sure you practice Bridge 3 a lot. This thing halted my FC for a day, and it gets annoying FC'ing everything then screw up at the very end. Also, solo's aren't that hard to figure out. Usually if I find a solo I can't nail, I'll take it to slow or something, then I'll be "OHHHH". Happened with both Barracuda and Stricken. =P |
